The NATIONALE THEATER KASSA (NTK) has become a specialist in ticket sales. It is one of the
most reliable booking offices, where the public can choose and buy a large variety of theater and
concert tickets, both by phone and through the internet. NTK does not only serve producers and
theaters. It also optimizes sales through postal and electronic direct mailing and runs, as a service,
the head booking office for large stage productions and indoor events, amongst which Soldaat van
Oranje, Disney on Ice, the World Judo Championships and Frans Bauer, Nick & Simon en Jan Smit
concerts. During these events, NTK also holds responsibility for premises management.
Being involved in more than 200 show productions per year and with the likes of De Efteling,
Amsterdam RAI, Dierenpark Emmen, AHOY Rotterdam etc. as its customers, NTK reaches an
audience of millions. Sales via internet (E-tickets) are growing consistently, but, if and when needed,
NTK is also present on premise.
NTK is located in Maasland and has about 120 (part-time) employees, headed by the director/owner
and one more director who is responsible for the day-to-day management, supported by an IT-
department and an HRM department.
Theaters and other venues establish their entry prices independently. NTK adds a reservation mark-up
of €4,50 per ticket and charges a €1,50 transaction fee per batch order of tickets per customer. From
the proceeds, handed over by NTK to the theaters and venues, it withholds an average service fee of
10%.

Yes, they have booking offices and postal/electronic direct mailing and runs. They have fysieke
locations and buying tickets on the internet.
c. How much importance (proportional weight in percent) would you attribute to Bricks and Clicks
respectively, in the case of NTK? Elaborate your answer (4 points).
I think it is van toepassing, but it is not necessary the fysieke gedeelte. Bricks & Clicks are
vullen elkaar aan.
