The First primary and second primary sources are taken from two different perspectives, one
from a cop and the other is from a Native American perspective. The two people are giving
comparisons and sides that tell the entire story of how the event occurred when it happened.
The two sides are presented from historic assessments of the reasons and causes that became
Wounded Knee Occupation and tells the history that prompted these people's experiences
during the Wounded Knee occupation. The third source is from D’Arcus and highlights features
from the various reasons for parties involved.

One narrative that has influenced the understanding of the event and how it might be
interpreted of this historical event was the writing by Scott, S.’s examination of Wounded Knee.
This was an authentic writing with perspectives that did not have personal predispositions for
