programme and module levels, as a phased-in approach. You will notice the
implementation thereof in your modules, and we encourage you to fully embrace
these changes during your studies at Unisa.

1 INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the module, People-centred schools. We hope that your study of this interesting
module will be useful and inspiring. The module explores the changing nature of schools and
the people in them. This tutorial letter introduces you to the module and provides details of
your assignments.

We will do our best to make your study of this module successful. You will be well on your
