Dit boek is steengoed, omdat het theorie verbindt met praktijk (het boek bevat vele voorbeelden), maar ook omdat het wetenschap verbindt met spiritualiteit. De auteur is zich ervan bewust dat spiritualiteit (het gebed) een belangrijk onderdeel is binnen veranderingsprocessen in de kerk.
