This summary contains the book chapters from Clinical Assessment of Malingering and Deception, as well as chapters 1, 6, and 7 from Validity Testing in Child and Adolescent Assessment. Additionally, all mandatory articles are summarized here. Everything is organized per week and discusses how and why people feign, malinger, fake and lie, as well as how to detect this and proof that a person is not telling the truth.

This is a summary for the course Deception in Clinical Settings. I wrote this in the year 2021 and me and my friends all studied with it. It got us all high grades and everyone said it was easy to work with.

Contains information about following topics: facticious disorder, munchausen syndrome (by proxy), malingering of cognitive and psychiatric disorders + amnesia, validity testing in childs and adolescents assessment, denial and substance use, polygraph. Could contain some spelling mistakes :)

The summary contains all lecture notes of the third year course Deception in Clinical Settings. The notes were made in preparation of the exam in the study year 2022/2023, they contain all the figures and tables as used in the lecture. The grade I received for the exam was an 8. The most important book used for the course is; Rogers, R. & Bender, S.D. (2018). Clinical assessment of malingering and deception (4th edition). New York: Guilford Press.

It's a good summary of all the lectures and all the reading material (chapters and articles). It's organized by the lectures. So for every lecture there is, the slides and additional things the teacher said and the reading material for that lecture. Information from de lectures are in black and additional information from the reading material is in grey.
