Deze samenvatting gaat over mens en maatschappij met de volgende hoofdstukken uitgewerkt: 1. 'de mens en werk' met de visies van Karl Marx, Hannah Arendt, Alain de Botton en Byung-Chul Han. 2. Naar mijn mening is het inzetten van aromatherapie bij postoperatieve pijn zeker klinisch relevant. Het is laagdrempelig inzetbaar vanwege de lage kosten en de minimale bijwerkingen daarnaast kost het de patiënt weinig inspanning. Essentiële oliën die momenteel beschikbaar zijn voor medicinaal gebruik worden door de Amerikaanse Food and Drug Administration (FDA) algemeen als veilig erkend.
