Introduction
Nando's case study will be explored in this assignment. The initial discussion will focus on the
business-level (competitive) strategy adopted by the South African restaurant chains and
evaluate its contribution to the organisation's objectives. This will be followed by the business
model of Nando, where they will be evaluated in the context of COVID-19 using its two key
elements, its value proposition and operating model.
Nando's leadership style will be analysed in the last section of the assignment, along with his
leadership against the four (4) interrelated components of transformational leadership.
