Description of your experience with Unisa's teaching practice processes,
arrangements, placements, school visits, support, etc.
As a university student undergoing teaching practice at UNISA, my experience with the process
has been enriching and insightful. The arrangements for placements have been well-organized,
providing me with diverse opportunities to gain hands-on experience in different school settings.
During my placements, I've had the chance to observe and learn from experienced mentors who
have been incredibly supportive and encouraging. Their guidance and feedback have been
invaluable in helping me develop my teaching skills and confidence in the classroom.
The school visits have been particularly beneficial, allowing me to immerse myself in the
day-to-day realities of teaching and learning. These visits have provided me with a deeper
understanding of classroom dynamics and the challenges that teachers face, while also
highlighting the importance of effective communication and classroom management.
The support provided by UNISA throughout the teaching practice process has been outstanding.
From regular check-ins with my mentor to workshops and resources available for further
professional development, I've always felt supported and equipped to succeed.
All in one, my experience with UNISA's teaching practice processes has been incredibly positive.
It has not only allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting but has also
helped me grow personally and professionally as I prepare for a career in education.
