are responsible for service delivery and other key functions.
Triangle municipality is a primary municipality that shares its municipal executive and
legislative authority with another municipality. In Triangle municipality, matters of local
concern to wards are dealt with by committees established for wards.
Circle municipality is a secondary municipality that includes more than one municipality
within its boundary. In this municipality, the municipal council delegates its daily tasks
and functions to the executive committee.
