disease has had a great impact all over the world. Primarily a negative impact. This essay
will focus on the impact of the COVID-19 disease on healthcare workers and office
workers.

The two industries that are being compared are the employees from the healthcare
sector, and the employees who work in an office before and after the COVID-19
pandemic. Consider the impact COVID-19 has had on people in employment. The
purpose of this comparison is to provide a clear understanding of what impact the
COVID-19 pandemic has had on the people who are working in this environment.
D. Thesis Statement:
Although COVID-19 changed the business environment on a global scale, the activities of
healthcare workers were not as hard affected.

A. Paragraph 2 Topic sentence: Healthcare workers
1. Activities
a. Work in healthcare continues, even after COVID-19. Actually, there is
more need for healthcare workers during this Corona pandemic because
of the disease numbers increasing.
b. Furthermore, healthcare workers are now also given more tasks and
more responsibilities. Since there is a shortage of personnel. (‘’Werken
als verpleegkundige op een COVID unit’’, 2021).
2. Customer contact
a. Even during corona, companies continue to keep in touch with their
customers, whether it is online or face-to-face. Many companies
advocate personal contact. (Twinfield, 2020).
b. Customer contact in healthcare continues, of course. Although strict
precautions have been taken for this. These include properly disinfecting
yourself as an employee, keeping your distance and paying more
attention to hygiene as usual.
