through the spread of corporate institutions and the capitalist philosophy that leads
to the shrinking of the world in economic terms. And globalisation is nothing new
(it’s is as old as human beings) however it has taken a particular turn since WW2…
and has accelerated dramatically……..
Globalization means the speedup of movements and exchanges (of human beings,
goods, services, capital, technologies or cultural practices) all over the planet. One of
the effects of globalization is that it promotes and increases interactions between
different regions and populations around the globe. And in a way shrinks the world in
economic terms.

world's economies, cultures, populations, brought about by cross-border trade in
goods and services, technology, and flows of investment, people, and information.

- Economic globalisation
Refers to the increasing interdependence of world economies as a result of the
growing scale of cross-border trade of commodities and services, flow of
international capital and wide and rapid spread of technologies.
Economic globalisation involves a wide variety of processes, opportunities, and
problems related to the spread of economic activities among countries around the
world. There have been may periods in which it occurred, most recently including the
latter nineteenth century after WWII, and the late 1960s/ early 1970s to the present.
Globalization aims to benefit individual economies around the world by making
markets more efficient, increasing competition, limiting military conflicts, and
spreading wealth more equally.

- Political globalisation:
refers to the growth of the worldwide political system, both in size and complexity. ...
One of the key aspects of the political globalization is the declining importance of the
nation-state and the rise of other actors on the political scene.

- Environmental globalisation:
refers to the internationally coordinated practices and regulations (often in the form
of international treaties) regarding environmental protection.
