Therefore when curricular programs are not aligned to the content standards students will be not will not be prepared for state testing. If students are not prepared for state testing they will not perform well on campus goals will not be met. Additionally ensuring that the campus curricular program meet content standard aids in vertical and horizontal alignment of instruction and curriculum both in school and within a district. This will help collaborative planning among colleagues and ensure continuity of instruction for students especially those with her mobility rates within the school Identify factors that a leader should consider for long-term improvements of a school's organizational system. - Leaders should consider alignment of vision and goals, availability and allocation of resources, and special design. The organization system should support the schools vision . The leader needs to determine if the schools organization system needs to be changed to reflect the changing needs of the students and the community that it serves. The leader needs to determine the availability of both physical and human resources and how those are allocated to support the school organization system. this may be hiring staff replacing staff or acquiring new technology devices. The leader needs to consider whether the layout and organization of the physical space in the school is conductive to the schools organization system. The leader may need to re-design or relocate certain classrooms and offices Explain how a leader should determine what equipment to acquire and when - A leader should be aware of the life expectancy of the various equipment that is already in the school so that he or she can determine when new equipment may be needed. This helps in the planning of maintenance, repair, and replacement cycles. The leader must determine if equipment is mandatory or optional. School finances must also be considered when contemplating the acquisition of new equipment. A leader may need to postpone the purchase of major equipment into a new fiscal year due to budget constraints. Leaders should also consider the impact of the new equipment. If the purchase of new equipment will impact the majority of the students or staff it can be placed higher on the priority list than equipment that may impact a small group of students such as a student organization or specialized instructional program Explain how physical plant safety and compliance with regulations affects the instructions affects the instructional program. - Failure to comply with building regulations can negatively affect the instructional program. If students and staff are in danger of being injured or hurt due to aspects of the plant that are in this disrepair or do not meet codes and standards this can interrupt a school day and cause the school and school district to be liable. It is dangerous and can cause a distraction to the instructional program. Malfunction equipment such as leaks, loud machines, or pest infection are also distracting to the instructional environment and may cause damage to instructional resources. Compliance with regulations such as ADA Codes is important to ensure access of all students and staff especially those with disabilities to all areas. Describe the role of technology on campus. - Technology impact school safety, communication, and instruction. Technology hardware and software are vital to the school. Technology can be used to assist with campus safety. Such as cameras and security monitoring. Technology also aids in effective communication in school. Via emails, intercom, radios, PA systems, marquees, and other form of technology used to communicate to staff and students. Technology is very useful for instruction. Computers, projectors, printers, and many other technology devices enhance the quality of instruction. Both staff and students may use these technology devices as part of the instructional
