, Introduction: Legacy of Apartheid in Sou
African education system
Although the South African First democratic government was elected in 199
which promoted equality amongst all races, there was still a lot of inequality
injustices which were created by the apartheid government
The Apartheid government strived for differential education system founded
under the Ideology of CNE which advocated segregated schooling system w
racial hierarchy
White people had their own education orchestrated to develop them into the brain of t
country, inducing leadership and critical thinking preparing them for superior managem
opportunities.
Post-apartheid, Blacks had to deal with the Bantu Education which neglecte
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and focused on
anthropology fashioned to develop them into subordinates and cheap labor
Colored and Indian also had their own education which similarly to blacks,
prepared them to be subordinates to whites though a step higher than Black
the hierarchy, so equality was needed to fully address the legacy of Aparthe
our education system
