(a) Briefly explain the difference between consanguinity and affinity. (2)
Consanguinity refers to blood relationship, relationship created by birth between
people who have at least one common ancestor.
Affinity refers to the relationship which comes into being between a married person
and the blood relations of his or her spouse, as a result of the marriage.
