, 1.The reason I want to become a teacher is so that I could help make a
better future. The future is in the hands of our children and teaching
them will leave a lasting impression and impact. However I am a very
strict person by nature and I find it hard to deal with the little ones so
therefore decided to get my degree in the intermediate and senior phase
I also chose natural science as my main subject as I find it fun and
interesting. I hope to get learners to also share my passion and start
enjoying natural science rather than looking at it as a hard subject in
school. Teaching and learning work hand-in-hand. The way you teach is
how learners will learn. A lot of time and effort needs to be invested in
teaching. plans and methods to be put in place in order to make sure
that all barriers are broken down and they all learner’s needs are met. I
think that teaching is a vital profession because every career starts at
school. Learners are motivated nurtured mentored and so much more by
the teachers. These learners then go on to do great things in life
because of the impact that their teachers had in their lives. We as
teachers only want what is best for the learners and will do our very best
to help them achieve their goals.

grounding knowledge in local contexts while being sensitive to Global
