This paper consists of 23 pages, 70 MCQ questions counting 1 mark each.
Instructions:
This is an open-book examination. Students may consult study material, books and own notes but may
not consult any person during the examination session.
Students will have access to this examination paper, 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the
examination 3 July 2020. The duration of this paper is from 18:00-21:00. You will have an additional 30
minutes after time for the paper has lapsed (until 21:30), to facilitate the uploading of your answers.
After this time, not further submissions will be accepted.
In all instances please follow the submission instructions as communicated in the 102 letter of this
module and the student guidelines for full MCQ papers on the MyUnisa Assessment Tool. For your
convenience, please see the submission guidelines and an alternative method of submission on page 2 &
3 of this question paper. Only online submissions for answers to this MCQ paper will be accepted. Do not
send your answers to your lecturers. It will not be marked.
Please ensure that you read, tick and complete the honesty declaration.
Should you not feel comfortable writing this examination online, for whatever reason, your registration
for this module will automatically be deferred to the next semester at no cost to you. We would like you
to make use of this unique opportunity to write this exam, but the choice remains yours.
We cannot guarantee that the next examination period will be online, non-venue based or open-book.

Follow these steps to submit your MCQ answers.
1. The answers to the examination MCQ may only be submitted online.
2. Access myUnisa at https://my.unisa.ac.za/portal and login using your student number
and myUnisa password
3. Click on the “myAdmin” tab in the top navigation
4. In the “Assessments” submenu, click on the “Assessment Info” tool in the drop-
down list
A list of all available assessments will display
Find the corresponding examination assessment number for your module
Click on the Submit link in the Action column and follow the steps described
below.
Step 1: Enter the total number of questions required for the assignment
Enter the total number of questions for your assignment in the Number of
Questions field
Click on the Continue button.
Step 2: Fill out multiple-choice question answers
The number of questions requested in the previous step will now be displayed with five
answer options next to each one. Please note that each row represents a question in your
assignment.
Click on the radio button [the small circle] that corresponds to your answer for
that question.
Click on the Continue button to move to step 3.
If you want to restart the assignment, click on Clear Form to remove all your
selections and start from new.
Step 3: Verify the answers to your multiple-choice assignment
This screen presents a summary of all your answers. Use it as a final check.
Click on the Continue button to submit your assignment. If you do not click
Continue, no submission action will take place.
If you want to redo the answers to the assignment, click Back to go back to the
previous step.

Step 4: Assessment submission report
This is your proof that your examination answers were successfully submitted. If you
do not see this screen, Unisa has not received your submission.
It is advisable to print this page or make a screen capture for record purposes. A copy of this
page will also be emailed to your myLife email account.

Find the corresponding module code
Click on the Open in New Window link and follow the steps as described above.
