There is a close link between domestic struggles and ideas from French revolution
as far as Haiti slave rebellion is concerned. I disagree with the assertion that only
domestic struggle and not the French revolution were the main reasons for the Haiti
revolution. The reasons are interwoven, and the example is race and class. In the
portfolio, reasons such as the influence from French revolution, slave resistance, the
need to abolish slavery, need for equality, religious freedom and need for
independence were significant to Haitian slaves. The above-mentioned reasons are
