Introduction of I will gather the learners on the carpet so I can have their full attention

I will start off by singing the alphabet song and they can join.
I will be then introduce them the book that we will be reading which is The
“ A” friends
Then I will ask the learners what they think the book is about
The learners will share their ideas with the class.
Body of lesson I will ask the learners to listen to the story that I will read to them.
I will read clear and out loud and show them the pictures
After reading a page or 2 I will stop and ask the question to make sure
that they understood the story so far.
Example: why is the book called The “A” friends
I wonder how Anopa feels when his friend calls him a baby
I will also choice the letter “S” say the sound and ask the learners to
repeat the sound x3 after me.
I will also show them the letter “S” on the alphabet chart.
Consolidation/ I will the learners to name a few things that start with the letter “S”
conclusion
I will also show them I few item that I have that start with the letter “S”
, ASSESSMENT I will group the learners together and give them a Teacher
assessment
1) Assessor few minutes as they have to act out the story.

characters in the story.
Some learners took alittle longer as to prepare for their demonstration.
