Different types of prejudice and exclusion have been experienced by students with
disabilities. These include unavailable learning resources and platforms,
unfavourable attitudes displayed by professors and other students, and more.
According to the study's findings, higher education institutions had to immediately
adapt their teaching and evaluation practices to the online environment. Due to
inadequate preparation for special exams, this resulted in a greater exclusion of
students with impairments whose exams had to be moved to the second semester.
The fact that they had to take twice as many exams at the end of the year was
another source of stress mentioned by students. Due to the National Lockdown
Level 5's closure of the Post Office, some students complained that they were
unable to obtain the assistive technologies they typically check out from the library.
Because Covid-19 is so innovative, it has created genuine obstacles for people,
especially kids with impairments, and will continue to do so.
