In your own words describe the following terms:
a) Rote Learning
Rote learning is a memorization technique based on repetition. The method rests on
the premise that the recall of repeated material becomes faster the more one repeats
it. Some of the alternatives to rote learning include meaningful learning, associative
learning, spaced repetition and active learning.
b) Pedagogical content knowledge
Is when a teacher puts together the knowledge that he or she already know, puts it
together with the knowledge of teaching and along with the subject matter
(knowledge).
c) Pedagogy
The method and practice of teaching, especially as an academic subject or
theoretical concept.
d) Epistemologies
The theory of knowledge, especially with regard to its methods, validity, and scope.
Epistemology is the investigation of what distinguishes justified belief from opinion.
e) Empirical
Based on what we see or experience through experimenting, rather than through
