Learners in South African Schools are experiencing Gender Based Violence
within the school premises .The latest media reports indicate that teachers are
also involved in assaulting female and male learners at school .Learners are
sleeping with teachers to get better marks.

4. Bullying: Female learners may face various forms of bullying, including verbal,
social, or cyber bullying, leading to feelings of fear, isolation, or inferiority.
5. Forced marriages: In some cases, female learners might be forced into early
marriages against their will, often depriving them of education and subjecting
them to physical and emotional abuse within the marital home.
