, QUESTION 1
As a new motor mechanic. You wish to start up a new business. You happen to find a garage
with a workshop where you are thinking of servicing and repairing cars. Your wish is to have a
modern workshop with a car lift that will allow you as mechanic to work underneath the cars
without laying on the ground (Hint: for more information, you might as well be advised to visit
or consult with your local car mechanic).
Give the analyses of the two dominant systems you would wish to install in your workshop

a) Mechanical system is set of physical components that convert an input motion and force
into a desired output motion and force, for example a car lift. Mechanical system works in
these elements, input, process and output.
b) Control system is a system that which provides the desired response by controlling the
output, for example, a software.

State with reasons the difference that exist between the systems in 1.1

Which system in 1.1 mostly applicable to the car breaks?
Mechanical system/ hydraulic system. This is because it is used to uplift the heavy objects and
allow mechanic to work underneath the car without lying to the ground.

Describe the process of fitting the braking systems in a car
Cylinder transmits hydraulic pressure to the slave cylinder when the pedal is pressed, and if the
pressure is applied on one cylinder. The other one will move to lift the objects and the pump to
transport the fluid, which is in the form of oil to the cylinders. The value mounted in the
cylinders should be closed when oil is pumped from the chamber to boost the pressure inside
the cylinder. In this way it causes the plunger to lift the objects, either a car or truck.
