My learner’s strength is mostly reading followed by writing. My learner’s weaknesses is listening and speaking. So areas
that that need improvements are listening and writing. Reading is their biggest strength that has the highest band grade.
Listening and speaking have lower band grade than writing and listening.
Which two skills have you chosen to teach in this lesson? Why? (minimum 150 words)
I have chosen to teach listening and speaking, according to the teaching IELTS assignment class summary listening and
speaking have the lowest band grade. So it is the area that needs improvement the most. Compared to reading and writing,
listening and speaking have the lowest band grade which cannot be ignored, that is why I have chosen to teach these two
skills to improve my students confidence to speak and be able to listen. Students communicate inside and outside the
classroom. Communication, discussion, real life situation need communication and be able to express yourself, a person
need to be able to listen and to speak for himself. Sometimes in order to learn student need to listen, sometimes in order to
learn students need to speak. Student not only learn through writing and reading they also learn through listening and
speaking. In all aspect of education student not only need to speak for their selves but to be able to speak for others as
well.

I have chosen health and fitness lesson topic because, this is a popular topic around the world. Students might be asked
about their diet or fitness in their IELTS speaking exam. People always have interest in sports and in their well-being both
old and the young. Developing some common health vocabulary is not a bad idea especially in a popular topic like this one
where health and fitness is a real life topic. This would be an interesting topic for my students not a boring topic. I have
chosen this topic because anyone in class can relate to this topic.
