of sources consulted.

Mhunti Communications, a company that oversees all communication and Public Relations
functions. You are asked as the head of marketing and communications to brief them on the
basics of communications. Identify and explain the basic communication model sequence to help
them understand the basic process of communication.

Jewels, a jewellery shops not been making any sales for the past 12 months. As a way of helping
generate more sales, you must draft a communication strategy. This will be a plan or document
that sets out the goals and methods of an organisation's communication activities.

• This plan will include the publics that the organisation wishes to reach (target audience
can be more than one group) who is the plan speaking to, females, males, youth,
pensioners, working class, businesses, etc

• The information it wishes to share with said publics. message that you are conveying to
public

• The channels you will use to send out the information or communicate the plan e.g. radio
etc. The selected channels need to be accessible to your specific audience (tv, posters,
billboards, newspapers, magazine, social media, etc)

• Activities that you will do which will enable you to engage in the sharing of information
(pop up stores, campaigns, trade shows etc).

• How you are going to evaluate your plan (calculate number of posts, number of sales,
feedback, visits etc)

• If your plan will need a budget, what is the estimated budget and for what it will be used
for (how much will it cost you).
