Organisaties hebben een groot aandeel in onze levensdoelen, het oplossen van wereldproblemen en
ook om zelf met onze problemen ergens terecht te kunnen. Hierom bestuderen we deze.
Arbeidsdeling en specialisatie: volgens Douma en Schreuder (2013: 8) “Het splitsen van
samengestelde taken in onderdelen die apart uitgevoerd worden”.
Twee externa:
1. De Markt (H2; micro-economie)
Producent maximaliseert winst
Consument maximaliseert ‘nut’
De markt, oftewel de bedrijven, coördineren de economie (prijzen, kwaliteit etc.)
Coördinatie op de markt:
Transactie brengt kosten met zich mee, deze kosten zijn afhankelijk van de transactie

Onderhandelen
Naleving verifiëren
2. De Organisatie (H3)

Alternatief voor de markt is om samen te werken binnen een organisatie, maar je hebt alsnog
elkaar nodig en het blijft een ruilspelletje. Als de kosten binnen de organisatie te hoog zijn,
besteed je ze uit aan de markt (en andersom).
Mintzberg over Organisatie: “... dat een stelletje mensen bij elkaar is gekomen onder een herkenbare
naam (...) om bepaalde producten of diensten te produceren”

geven is niet de voornaamste taak.
