the usual deadline. In addition, 41% of students and 50-60% of dropouts leave in the
first year. Dr. Abraham emphasized the need to deal with this serious situation together.
Ms. Moloi expressed her frustration as a parent and asked why parents should be
blamed for the crisis. He expressed concern about the high cost of education and the
fact that the system has not produced satisfactory results. The minister confirmed that
everyone is a stakeholder in the education system and emphasized the need for joint
work.
