Assignment 6 – What to do
Include the work you studied and write on through the year (including Assignment 3) to
complete your final research portfolio.
Task 1: Submit to Turnitin to ensure you have a low similarity score (below 30%).
Each portfolio will be individually looked at to ensure that the research
done is your own work. If students have copied and pasted or used
‘patch-writing’, it will be noted in the marking process.
After Turnitin have indicated your score:
o Download your receipt and attach as Appendix C.
o Indicate your score on the Title Page.
30 marks will be deducted if:
o the % is not indicated in the assignment on the Title page,
o you did not submit to Turnitin, or
o the % is more than 30%.
Note: do not wait until a day or two before the submission date to upload
to Turnitin, as there might be technical issues or just too many students
that want to access Turnitin and generate reports. Turnitin may take up
to 36 hours to generate the report. There will be no extensions as this
is an examination submission.
, Watch the videos regarding Turnitin under Additional resources/Turnitin
on MyUnisa.
Task 2: Submit your Portfolio (PDF) on myUnisa before the due date.
Ensure to make backups of your research.
Keep the submission receipt.
