The Fox and the GrapesOnce upon a time there was a fox who became very thirsty during his
search for food one day. He came across some clusters of beautiful
juicy grapes hanging high up in an old vineyard near him. The hungry
little creature looked longingly at them but couldn’t reach them
because they were too far away from the ground. So he thought to
himself that if only those delicious looking fruits weren’t so tightly
secured within those vines then surely he would enjoy eating each
individual grape! But alas even though he tried jumping several times
over attempting to grab hold something sturdy enough support his
weight while reaching outstretched claws towards tempting prize still
proved futile endeavor due limitations nature imposed limits strength
capacity feline hunter-gatherer species known scientifically as Vulpes
vulpes Linnéan name meaning "fox" derived Latin language
