and
JENUSHA NAIDOO

(hereinafter referred to as “you”; “your”)



1. INTRODUCTION

1.1. The terms and conditions set out herein will constitute the Employee’s contract of
employment with the Company with effect from 1 NOVE MBER 2023.

1.2. Where a basic condition of employment is not specifically mentioned herein, the relevant
legislation will be applicable, including the Basic Conditions of Employment Act 75 of 1997
and the Labour Relations Act 66 of 1995, as amended from time to time.

2. DURATION OF AGREEMENT

Your employment with the Company shall begin on 1 NOVEMBER 2023 and shall continue until
it is terminated in accordance with the terms of this agreement.

3. DUTIES

You will be employed as a ADMIN CLERK AND SALES ASSISTANT. You are required to
perform such duties as may be reasonably assigned to you by the Company from time to time.
The Company may also, in its discretion, redeploy or assign you to other roles or positions within
the Company, provided that such roles or positions fall within your skills and capabilities.

4. REMUNERATION

4.1. The Employee’s total monthly remuneration will be an amount of R9,500 payable in arrears
on or about the last day of each month, and will be subject to deductions for PAYE, UIF and
any other mandatory or statutory deductions. Should the regular payment date fall on a

, weekend or public holiday, the Company shall pay the salary on the last working day before
the said day.

4.2. The Company shall also be entitled to deduct from your remuneration or other payments due
to you any money which you may owe to the Company at any time, in accordance with the
applicable law.

5. PROBATION

The first 3 months of your employment shall be a probationary period, during which period you
are obliged to satisfy the Company that you can perform your responsibilities in accordance with
the standards and requirements required by the Company for your position and as to your general
suitability for employment with the Company. The Company may extend this period at its
discretion. Your employment may be terminated by you or the Company on 1 week notice in
writing at any time during or at the end of this period.

6. PLACE OF WORK

Your normal place of work will be the Whisken Balwin, Whisken Avenue, Crowthorne, Midrand
or such other locations as we may reasonably require.

7. WORKING HOURS

7.1. The Employee will be required to work a minimum of 45 ordinary hours per week in
accordance with the company’s rota, as notified to the Employee from time-time.

7.2. The Employee may be required to work up to a maximum of 12 hours a day, inclusive of a
meal interval, without receiving overtime, in accordance with section 11 of the Basic
Conditions of Employment Act, as amended from time to time.

7.3. The Company conducts a retail business and so the Employee will ordinarily be required to
work weekends, including Sundays, in accordance with the needs of the Company.

7.4. Having regard to the nature of the Employee’s position and the Company’s operations, the
Employee may be required to work such overtime hours, including on weekends or public
holidays, as may be required by the Company from time to time. Overtime and work over
weekends and public holidays will be remunerated in accordance with the applicable labour
laws. If the Employee does not qualify for such pay under the applicable labour laws, no
additional pay will be payable.

8. ANNUAL LEAVE

8.1. The Company’s annual leave entitlement is 15 working days per annum or pro rata thereof.

8.2. Annual leave is to be taken at times convenient to the Company and approved by the
Company in advance.
