1.1 Briefly describe how you will use the total physical approach (TPR)
in assisting you to address fear and confusion that learners might

I can use the total physical approach (TPR) in assisting to address fear and
confusion that learners might experience using a Role-Playing, that is l can
create scenarios where learners can act out daily routines like “going to the
market” or “preparing for school.” This helps those associate actions with
words and phrases in context. l can also use matching activities by having
learners match physical objects with their names in English. For instance,
give them a ball and say “ball,” encouraging them to repeat and hold the
object, reinforcing the word-object association. I can also use a like play
“Simon Says” using action verbs in English. For example, “Simon says,
‘jump,’” “Simon says, ‘sit down,’” etc. This game encourages listening and
response without the pressure of speaking.
1.2 “Over-exposure to a teacher’s voice can lead children to be turned
off from listening.” Suggest FIVE (5) other ways that a teacher can use
to attract children’s attention.

spark interest through peer interaction. Furthermore, Music and Rhythm
which integrate songs or chants related to the lesson, as the rhythm and
melody can help maintain attention. A teacher can also use Puzzles and
Games, by employing language-based puzzles or board games that require
focus and participation, makes learning more dynamic and fun. These
strategies can create a more inclusive and stimulating learning environment,
catering to different learning styles and preferences.
