with this issue.

Important questions to ask this patient include: Is the lump movable or painful? Is

the lumpiness on both breast or just one, did it begin gradually or suddenly? Is there only

one lump or are there many? Are you taking any hormones for any reason? Have you had

any recent traumas to your chest such as an automobile accident or recent surgery? Do

you have a fever or is the skin warm? Do you have breast discharge in one or both breasts

do it come from one part of the nipple or all parts of the nipple? Does the discharge come

the right breast, the second area was 2.0 cm in the right breast with a lesion and is

palpable at the 12 o’clock position and no skin fixation or inflammation was noted. The

axillary lymphadenopathy to palpation noted a one-centimeter right axillary lymph node

that is firm but mobile (American Cancer Society, 2018).

Are there any diagnostic studies that should be ordered on this patient? Why?
