raise funds. Entrance to the movie is R10,00 per person or R25,00 including popcorn and a
cooldrink. 85 learners pay entrance only and 125 learners pay for the combo.
1.1 Write the number of learners that paid R10 versus the number of learners
that paid R25 as a ratio in its simplest form. (2)
1.2 The school has 535. Write the number of learners that will be attending the
movie night as a fraction over the total amount of learners in the school. (2)
1.3 Determine the percentage of learners that will be attending the movie night. (3)
1.4 Determine the gross income of the movie night. (3)

4.3 In which direction is the tuck shop from the C pavilion? (1)
4.4 If they girls stay at a guest house 25min away from the school, what time should
they leave to be on time for a 20min warm-up before their match at 9h00. (3)

that time? Why/Why not?
