VERY IMPORTANT:
The purpose of the case study below is to assess your ability to solve problems and to think
critically while considering the integration of topics.
Due date: 26 August 2024
The assessment for learning unit 3 consists of three written case studies. Two of the three case
studies must be submitted. Your year mark will be calculated as the average of your best two
case study marks obtained.
The case studies weigh equally and in total weigh 45% of your final mark.
There are no special/supplementary assessments, and no assessments are scheduled for
cases of sickness or any unforeseen circumstances. You need to ensure that you submit at
least two of the three cases.
No sick letters or doctors’ notes will be accepted or considered. If only one or two cases are
submitted, the total marks of the written assessments submitted will be divided by two to obtain
the year mark. If no assessment is submitted the assessment mark will be nil.
In the interest of fairness, no requests for exceptions will be entertained. You are therefore
requested to refrain from lodging an appeal.
