manners to strengthen relationships
Why Khadidja hopes for reconciliation
and continuous to come to the shop even
after her sister gave her a bag of sweets
Why she gave the sweets despite not
wanting to relent and forgive her sister
Bad of sweets is supposed to bring joy
but in this story it is a form of insult
Khadidja is disrespected and treated like

Ironic that Kaltoum never speaks to her
sister and tells her brothers that she
wishes she would come calling at the
shop, yes when Khadidja does come
