, Below, I am going to focus on recycling glass but you can
choose any other recyclable material - plastic, paper, metals, etc
and find a recycling drop- off point for that material. Following
on from the recycling preparation activity, please use the 'Find a
Glass Bank' tab on following link to locate the nearest or most
convenient recycling glass bank to where you live. Once you
have located a recycling glass bank please note its location
(using GPS co-ordinates, street names and suburb or even by
attaching a map) and how far (in time or in distance) it is from
where you reside in Assignment 5. You can also note if you
experienced any difficulties in locating a recycling drop-off
point that you could use. Remember, we're not interested in
where you live but rather where the nearest or most convenient
recycling drop-off point is located to you. Also we know that
there are several companies which offer recycling drop-off
points (e.g. some Total & Engen garages in Johannesburg). You
are more than welcome to use any recycling drop-off point and
if you live outside of South Africa, you will need to search the
internet for your closest recycling drop- off point. At this point, I
would just like to remind you that you need to make sure that
you have located a drop-off point for recycling and not a general
point for rubbish collection that doesn't count! I would also like
you to address the following in your initial blog post for
Assignment 5: How will the knowledge of the closest recycling
drop-off point change your recycling habits? Will you increase
