Where does tissue come from?
1. Normal tissue:

o Diagnostics biopsies (colon, breast etc.)

Techniques used in histology:
1. Tissue processing:
Fix tissue (freeze tissue in space and time)
Tissue is dehydrated and the water is replaced paraffin wax
