Common symptoms of an ear pathology:

• Tinnitus: ringing, buzzing or swishing in the ears
- Often associated with hearing loss
• Otalgia: ear pain (can be deferred)
• Otorrhea: drainage from the ear (discharge)
• Vertigo: a sense of rotatory motion experienced by the client
• Hearing loss: loss of sensitivity or clarity of sound

hearing loss cause tinnitus.
