Facts of the problem


Ziggy owns a block of flats. Ziggy has become unhappy with some of his tenants and would
like to be rid of them.

1) Adam occupies Flat One in the block of flats. Ziggy is unhappy with Adam because he
disturbs the peace and tranquillity of everyone else in the block of flats by having wild
parties almost every night. Ziggy suspects that Adam might be conducting an illegal
gambling den inside his flat. He also has growing suspicions about the use (and maybe
sale) of illegal narcotics in Flat One.

Ziggy decides that urgent action is needed. He boards up the door to Flat One in order to
make it impossible for Adam to enter the premises.

2) Bulelani occupies Flat Two in the block of flats. Ziggy is unhappy with Bulelani because
he has not paid the rent for two months. Instead of suing for the rent money owing, Ziggy
decides to recoup the money for himself. He takes possession of Bulelani’s expensive
