1. Spelfoute en eenwoord-antwoorde word slegs gepenaliseer as dit die betekenis van
die woord verander.
2. Spel- en taalfoute in langer antwoorde word nie gepenaliseer nie omdat die fokus op
begrip is.
3. By oop vrae word punte vir JA / NEE / EK STEM SAAM / EK STEM NIE SAAM NIE
toegeken. Die rede/motivering moet oorweeg word en punte word ook daarvoor
toegeken.
4. Die afwesigheid van aanhalingstekens word gepenaliseer wanneer daar vir aanhalings
gevra word.
5. Waar eenwoord-antwoord gevra word en die leerder ʼn volsin gee, is dit korrek mits
die korrekte woord onderstreep word of op een of ander wyse uitgelig word.
6. Wanneer twee of drie feite/punte vereis word en die leerder gee ʼn hele reeks, word
slegs die eerste twee of drie feite/punte nagesien.
7. Indien die leerder woorde uit ʼn ander taal gebruik as die taal waarin die vraestel
verskyn, word die vreemde woorde geïgnoreer. Indien die antwoord sonder die
vreemde woorde sinvol in Afrikaans is, word die leerder NIE GEPENALISEER NIE. Indien
die vreemde woord in die antwoord vereis word, word dit aanvaar.
8. Aanvaar dialektiese variasies.
9. By meervoudigekeuse-vrae word beide die letter EN die korrekte antwoord wat ten
volle uitgeskryf is, aanvaar.
