, Abstract
There is a lack of digital access and energy experienced by asylum seekers in Govan. In this project
we studied the challenges that asylum seekers are facing due to their lack of digital access. We
intend to come up with solutions that are going to help asylum seekers by designing hydroelectric
power plant for an energy challenge are. Hydroelectric power plant is a type of renewable source
energy in which electricity is generated using water. This design will be conducted in a dam called
River Clyde in Govan. The project will provide low-carbon and renewable energy for. asylum seekers
in Govan as they need transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy. This project will provide
affordable electricity for every household. Another challenge area asylum seekers are facing is digital
access. Our project focuses on helping asylum seekers get emergency assistance and book an
appointment for health services. Our project will be about building a container with 3 screens where
there will be an app where asylum seekers get to book for an appointment as well as for emergency
occasions. We are hoping that this project will fit its purpose.
