GGY 201 (City, Structure, Environment and Society). The lecturer of this module is Dr ........... who specialises in urban geography. His research interests are broadly focused on aspects of urban and neighbourhood change in the post-apartheid city. This module introduces students to urban settlement patterns, processes and structures. Using a series of case studies, it aims to develop an understanding of the challenges facing urban areas both globally and in South Africa.
