Alice in Wonderland – Eckardt verwys na Lawson Kollege en hul bestaan as ‘n Alice in Wonderland.
Alles lyk oppervlakkig mooi en goed, maar Alice is omring deur booshede. As sy wil teugkeer huis toe,
is daar die heeltyd nuwe paaie wat vir haar die pad aanwys nes Eckardt vir Greg die pad na
kuberkrakery aanwys. Alice het heeltyd iemand wat haar lei, nes Eckardt vir Greg lei. Alice wil graag
huis toe gaan, maar gaan net dieper in die wonderland ... soos Greg al hoe dieper in die onderwêreld
van kuberkrakery gaan. Bl. 173
André – Hy is ‘n werknemer by Harrismith Technology en het vir Deon Thompson (bestuurder van
Harrismith Technologies) gehelp met die opknapping van Lawson Kollege se rekenaarsekuriteit. Greg
het vir Joan as André gebel om inligting te kry (sosiale manipulasie) sodat hy RAT op Dok se rekenaar
kon installeer.
Anita – Die kunstenaar wat met Inspekteur Cele saamwerk om Eckardt op te spoor nadat hy verdwyn
het. Aangesien daar geen foto’s van Eckardt beskikbaar was nie, het Greg ‘n beskywing gegee sodat
Anita vir Eckardt daarvolgens kon teken. Anita verskyn die eerste keer in die roman in hoofstuk 23.
B
Bill Eden – Hy is die Wiskunde-onderwyser by Lawson Kollege. Sommige leerders noem hom
Boggom. Op sy beste lyk hy blykbaar na een van die Drakensberg se bobbejane. Dis ironies, aangesien
‘n bobbejaan (stereotipering ‘dom”) met Wiskunde (stereotipering “slim”) geassosieer word. Bill het
Eckardt se verdwyning by die adjunkhoof (Mnr Andersen) aangemeld.
Black Eyed Peas – Nicole sê vir Greg dat sy graag saam met Candy en Clarissa na hul vertoning wil
gaan kyk. Hulle gaan by Sun City optree.
Brute Force – lees die insiggewende aanval op veral bladsy 186-191.
Botha – sy naam is Leon. Hy is ‘n sersant in die polisie en assisteer vir inspekteur Cele.
C
Candy en Clarissa – Hulle is Nicole se vriendinne. Hulle herinner Eckardt aan iets uit The Playboy.
Greg noem hulle C & C. Hulle lyk amper dieselfde en doen alles saam. Hulle verskyn in hoofstuk 16.
Cup ’n Crunch –hy was ‘n kuberkraker wat die fluitjies in papbokse gebruik het om rekenaars te kraak.
Connected – Eckardt se luitoon (ring tone)
Collin – Hy het vir sersant Botha gebel terwyl die sersant besig was om Greg te ondervra oor Eckardt
se verdwyning. Collin is van die CCU – Computer Crimes Unit. Hy het uit Gauteng gekom en Greg
se rekenaar deursoek. Collin het die RAT wat Eckardt op Greg se rekenaar geïnstalleer het, opgespoor.
Caldini – dokter wat ‘n social engineering attack op verpleegsters in Amerika gedoen het.
